How was your year?
I began 2025 in Alabama, after making the hard choice to leave Portland, OR after a leg injury and consistent inconsistency with work.
I was back in my hometown after a long year of touring and travel across the Continental US, and I was tired.
January came and went quickly, like a dream.
By February I had found work and I was beginning to tour with my band and solo around the South. Me and the "SouthEast branch" of Them played in every major Southern City by the Spring.
From New Orleans to Nashville. From Birmingham to Greenville. From Atlanta to Memphis. All along the way I was looking for places that I could see myself moving to.
To be closer to home, to be closer to family.
But by April, I felt I was being called back to the SouthWest. I packed my car and returned to Bisbee.
Now, after more than a year away from Oregon I am returning to Portland to kickoff a SouthWest tour with my pals in the band Suntex.
The tour will take us from Portland through Idaho, Utah and Arizona, ultimately bringing us to Bisbee for the Sidepony Express Music Festival.
Here's a quick breakdown on our short 1500-mile-run!
October 28 - Portland, OR - Starday Tavern - W/ The Skrimps and Taxi - 7PM
It is nearing a year since I played my last show in Portland, withThe Skrimps at the beloved Starday Tavern. This time we return once again with The Skrimps and Taxi.
While my time in Portland was brief, I feel honored to have made so many musical friends in such a short time. I met Noah and Issac of Taxi right there at the Starday Open Mic. I met Joel of The Skrimps at the Open Jam at The Big Legrowski, where I was even a bartender for a short time.
With that being said, it will be a family affair on 10/28, and I can't wait to see you Portland!
November 1 - Big Pappas - Twin Falls, Idaho - W/ Suntex - 8pm - $10
I met the members of Suntex when they performed with me at Kelly's Olympian, my first show in Portland in May of 2024. Brian, their drummer, offered immediately to tune my bass drum, and we struck up a friendship from there.
Suntex is a psychedelic western quartet inspired by desert cinematic landscapes, lonesome cowgirls, dark western ballads and classic sounds embodying these themes.
Me and Suntex would play a lot of shows together in the summer and fall of 2024. They have become dear friends and I cannot wait to show them Arizona.
11/1 will be my first show ever in Idaho. We're playing at Big Pappa's.
November 2 - The Boiler Room - Ogden, Utah - W/ Suntex,Winners Only, Eyes Buggy - 7pm Doors - 8PM Show- $12
I've been singing The Boiler Room praises since I performed there in August 2024 on my last SouthWest Tour. This time Suntex and I will be joined by Ogden's own Winners Only and Salt Lake's Eyes Buggy.

November 3 - International Artist Lounge - Salt Lake City, Utah - W/ Suntex, Soul Dye - 7pm Doors - 8PM Show- FREE
Another lovely spot I was introduced to on tour last year is The International Artist Lounge. I am so excited to return to Salt Lake with Suntex and to reconnect with pals in the amazing psych rock band Soul Dye.
This is a free show! Doors at 7PM.
November 5 - Central Records - Phoenix, AZ - W/ Suntex, Sewerbitch! - 7pm Doors - 8PM Show - $7
I have not performed in Phoenix since May, 2024. I am returning now with Suntex and my badass friends in SewerBitch!

Our long stretch across the SouthWest ends at home in Bisbee for Sidepony Express.
I missed the last two years of this wild festival and I can't wait to return! Join us as hundreds of bands descend on Bisbee for a festival like no other. Schedule coming soon...
